Tess Braddock
Technician Assistant
I am a sophomore in college. I’m also a nursing and psychology major with the hopes of becoming a CRNA and performing research on child CPTSD victims on the side with my psychology degree. I’m on the shotgun team at schreiner and I’m extremely involved on campus and I’m excited to begin this new journey!
Zavanna Montague
Client Relations
Hello, my name is Zavanna Montague. I grew up in the countryside of Texas, but moved to the hill country for college. I’m a biochemistry major, but I’m still deciding what’s next after I earn my bachelors. I’m a cat lover with a fur baby of my own named Biscuit. He’s an American Curl/Maine Coon mix. More so my big fluffy baby though. I’m so excited to meet all the fur babies that come into the clinic.
Ramon Gutierrez
Client Relations
Your friendly, compassionate receptionist here at Friends Veterinary Clinic!
With over five years of experience in veterinary reception and client relations, I’m proud to be part of the Friends Veterinary team. I have a true passion for helping people and their pets, and I’m always eager to assist with your pet’s medical needs and care.
I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and building lasting relationships with our clients and their furry family members.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, friends, and my two happy dogs. Most days, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking something delicious or relaxing with a good movie alongside my son and pups. I’m a proud family man, born and raised right here in the beautiful Hill Country.
I look forward to welcoming you and your pet(s) to Friends Veterinary Clinic!

She began her veterinary career in 2002 and has worked as a receptionist, assistant, technician, lead, and manager. She has worked in general practice, emergency, and specialty. She loves working as a technician and takes pride in patient care, client care, and promoting a positive work culture. When Jessica isn’t working she is spending time with her family, her geriatric Rottweiler “Oso”, her heeler puppy “Rebel”, and her 3 legged cat “Sherman” (Who has Dr. McIntosh to thank for saving his life)
Dr. Samantha Mcintosh
Veterinarian
Dr. Samantha McIntosh grew up near the beach in Corpus Christi, Texas. She has always had a love for animals and a passion for helping those in need. She graduated from King High School and proceeded to get her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, at Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi. Once she graduated, she was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Veterinary degree. Her fourth year of veterinary school, or hospital year, was served at Texas A&M College Station. After graduating she dedicated six years to mixed animal practice and learned how to run a veterinary clinic successfully. Now a childhood dream has come true of being able to own and operate a veterinary clinic. The clinic is named after her childhood golden retriever, Friend. Or her true name on paper, which Samantha gave to her at just three years of age, “Samantha’s Best Girlfriend”. Friend was the start of her love for animals and now is a constant reminder of how she wants her patients to be treated. She is dedicated to serving her community and helping animals and their owners. Her focus is preventative care and offering compassionate but dedicated service. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her two boys, husband and numerous animals.
